Founding of the School
Balmoral College was founded in 1959 by Frank and Anne Pearson, with the aim of providing a bilingual education grounded in human values, social commitment, and academic excellence.
In 1965, the community of families acquired the school, giving rise to the Educational Cooperative and the Balmoral Foundation, consolidating a participatory and cooperative model that still defines the institution’s identity.
Growth and Innovation
The school broadened its offering with the Secondary School, the Sports Grounds, its first international tours, and certification of the Bilingual Baccalaureate, strengthening its holistic development.
Balmoral stood out for its innovative spirit, adopting Cambridge examinations early on and driving digital education, interdisciplinary projects, and community service rooted in the local community.
Balmoral Today
More than six decades on, Balmoral continues to build a community of wellbeing, cooperative work, and social responsibility, shaping independent and committed students.
