Our students engage with programmes and organisations that enrich their school journey and prepare them for an interconnected world that is constantly changing.

ESSARP

Cooperation and exchange between schools of British tradition since 1926.

ESSARP (English Speaking Scholastic Association of the River Plate) has brought together educational institutions in Argentina and Uruguay since 1926 to promote cooperation and the exchange of experiences among schools of British tradition.

Balmoral College is an active member, taking part in initiatives that strengthen the education of our students and teachers.

Being part of ESSARP gives us access to professional development programmes and student activities, supporting our mission to provide quality education and prepare students for global challenges.

Cambridge International Education

International curriculum and certifications from the University of Cambridge for students aged 3 to 19.

Cambridge IGCSE

International standards to develop key skills across different areas.

The IGCSE programme offers international standards that build key skills across different areas of knowledge, strengthening students’ academic journey.

Cambridge Early Years

International curriculum framework for early childhood, focused on play and exploration.

Balmoral College has received the official certificate accrediting it to deliver the Cambridge Early Years Programme, joining an international educational network endorsed by Cambridge Assessment International Education.

From this year, the programme will begin to be delivered in the 3-, 4- and 5-year-old classes, as part of our bilingual project. It is an international curriculum framework for early childhood, with a holistic, child-centred approach that promotes learning through play, exploration and meaningful experiences.

This addition strengthens our educational project, ensures high quality standards and reaffirms our commitment to an up-to-date education, aligned with international criteria and respectful of the local context.

Cambridge English

Examinations (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE) that certify language skills.

Our students can sit international examinations (PET, FCE, CAE and CPE) that certify their language skills and add value to their academic profile and professional future.

Alliance Française

Official certifications that open doors to higher education and international opportunities.

Students can certify their command of French through international examinations from the Alliance Française, a world-leading institution.

Google for Education

Training for the pedagogical and responsible use of technology.

Since 2024 we have begun the journey to become a Google Reference School, training staff and students in the pedagogical use of Google for Education tools.

This partnership strengthens our digital culture and promotes the responsible use of technology in the classroom.

Digital House

Skills in programming, technology and computational thinking.

In partnership with Digital House, we offer experiences that prepare students for the challenges of the digital world, developing skills in programming and computational thinking.

Aprendo Leyendo

Literacy based on scientific evidence from the earliest years.

A literacy programme based on scientific evidence, designed to develop reading accuracy, fluency and comprehension from the first years of primary school.

Through explicit, systematic teaching, it addresses phonological awareness, decoding, spelling and grammar.

Inspired by Orton-Gillingham, it adapts effective strategies to Spanish to strengthen reading and prevent difficulties.

ADE

Holistic development through sport, tournaments and gatherings.

The Student Sports Association (ADE) brings together bilingual schools in Buenos Aires to promote holistic development through sport, with tournaments, gatherings and competitions.

It also promotes teacher training and a solid calendar of activities that strengthen students’ sporting development.

FIDU

Communication with families and academic management on a single platform.

We use FIDU to communicate with families and to centralise academic management, with access to report cards, grades and relevant updates.

It allows us to maintain smooth, well-organised contact with the whole community.

TECHO

Community action to strengthen empathy and social commitment.

We work alongside TECHO to promote community action experiences in vulnerable contexts.

Students help build emergency housing, strengthening teamwork, empathy and a sense of social solidarity.

TED-Ed Clubs

Ideas, communication and their own voice to give a TED-style talk.

TED-Ed Clubs invites students to explore ideas, develop their own voice and share perspectives through inspiring presentations.

The process strengthens communication, critical thinking and creativity, with the goal of delivering a TED-style talk.

Mathematics Olympiads – Ñandú

Problems that develop logical thinking and perseverance.

We promote logical thinking and problem-solving through participation in the Ñandú Mathematics Olympiad.

The challenges call for creativity and ingenuity, and foster perseverance and a love of learning.

Mathematics Olympiads – OMA

Challenges of reasoning and creative mathematical problem-solving.

We take part in the Argentine Mathematics Olympiad (OMA) to deepen reasoning and problem-solving strategies.

These experiences strengthen analytical skills and a creative approach to mathematical challenges.
